A small family workshop that makes furniture children truly love
SoftNest was born from a very simple idea: children deserve furniture that feels as safe and comforting as a hug.
We are a small family sewing workshop based in Canada. We don’t mass‑produce, outsource overseas, or rush collections. Every SoftNest chair is sewn one by one, by hand, in our own workshop — with the same care we would put into something made for our own child.
Why we started
When we were choosing furniture for our own kids, we couldn’t find anything that felt right.
Some chairs were cute, but uncomfortable. Others were soft, but poorly made. Many were mass‑produced, with fabrics and fillings we didn’t fully trust.
So we decided to make our own.
